Editorial & Corrections Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

In Short

Our articles are written independently, in our own words, to explain how things work. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say so.

01 Editorial Independence

Every article on DriverResolver is written independently. No hardware maker, software company, or other party pays for, reviews, or influences what we publish. We do not accept sponsored content or payment for coverage.

02 How We Write

Our goal is plain-language explanation. We write in our own words, aim to describe how things generally work rather than give step-by-step instructions for one particular device, and prefer official documentation and well-established references when researching a topic.

03 Accuracy and Updates

Technology changes quickly, so articles may be revised as things evolve. When we make a meaningful change, we update the page so it reflects the current understanding, and pages may be revised without notice.

04 Corrections

If you spot an error, an outdated statement, or something unclear, please tell us through the contact form with the page and passage in question. When we confirm a mistake, we correct it promptly and, where the change is significant, note that the article has been updated.

05 Not Professional Advice

Our articles are educational background reading. They are not technical support or professional advice; see our Disclaimer for details.

Related Policies

These policies are meant to be read together. Each one covers a different corner of how DriverResolver operates, and together they describe a quiet, non-commercial educational site that hosts no downloads, sells no data, and is not affiliated with any hardware maker or software company.
